About Me

Background
I am an Artist going by the name Kay-eye. I am a Kenyan by birth. I have spent my childhood in different places. My life originates from a very humble background. I have grown around different people and that has moulded me to be a person who appreciates diversity. I am a trained statistician having done BSc. Statistics with pure mathematics at Moi University.

Being an artist
I am a big fan of poetry a character which I have developed over quite a number of years. I am an MC, also a musician doing Hiphop, Hiphop fusions, and spoken word. My content is centered around issues affecting the society. I have mastered cipher and I do employ it in my poetry to add flavor to the flow. I get inspired by the life I encounter on a daily basis. All that I see around me makes sense in a poetical manner. I am ever determined to exploit my talent which I do believe is God given to the core.
I also double up as an actor with an organization called POTTERS FILMS MEDIA in Embakasi, Nairobi. We do promote acting talent among the young people thus making them engaged hence enhancing positivity.

Being a statistician
I also practice information processing. I employ statistics and number theory in statistical data analysis to come up with reliable conclusions regarding the essence of the study. So in this regard I handle matters ranging from scientific to business areas.

Giving back to society
Having lived for the past several years, I have the feeling the society has input a lot in me. There is joy in the heart of a giver. I do subscribe to this fact. It does not necessarily mean that I offer monetary support only. One can pay back in different ways. For me I value the talent in me, and this makes me deem it imperative to impart life through the same. To achieve this, I have an initiative called SMILE NAYO! This is an initiative to reach out to the destitute children in the community. I do it in partnership with my dance crew. Through the initiative we do extent our helping hand by doing charitable events where we are able to get food stuffs and clothing for the children in the children homes.
